Canadian Partnership for Children's Health & Environment

This is a website conducted by The Canadian Partnership for Children's Health and Environment (CPCHE), which is a group that aims to improve children’s environmental health in Canada. The reason why I recommend this website to early childhood educators is because it provides many efficient, up to date resources such as face sheets and educational materials for us to use and learn.

For example, the CPCHE listed over twenty of their popular PLAYING IT SAFE brochure for center and home use.

Below is one of the Brochure list in the website.

On the other hand, the website not only provides educational materials, it also provides group projects such as “Exploring the connection between early environmental exposures and Chronic Disease” for reader ‘s information.

Below the link of “Exploring the connection between early environmental exposures and Chronic Disease”, the CPCHE states that they are working in collaboration with the OCDPA to summarize the link between early environmental exposures and chronic disease. Publications that relate to the project has been put in the website. For example, “The report Early Exposures to Hazardous Pollutants/Chemicals and Associations with Chronic Disease (also linked below) provides a foundation for future collaborative work across these two networks.(CPCHE, 2012)”
